Begun during Olmsted Plein Air Invitational 2022, this painting was completed during Olmsted Plein Air Invitational 2023, inside the Cotton Fair barn on a rainy day in Gay, Georgia. I was intrigued with the light coming through this complex wooden structure, and found the drawing/capturing of this on paper to be very relaxing and fulfilling. I can only imagine this place full of people and activity!
